Synod of Independent Apostolic Clergy

The Synod of Independent Apostolic Clergy is an association of Churches, Denominations, Religious Orders and other ecclesiastical bodies that have one thing in common. That is, they are all independent yet part of the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church whose head is Jesus Christ.

We have come together to offer encouragement, love, support and assistance in helping to unite the Body of Christ on earth. We recognize the validity of the sacraments which each offers to God’s beautiful creation, His children.

The Synod of Independent Apostolic Clergy is not a merger of any of the member jurisdictions. We have no formal agreement of (inter) communion with each other, yet we will strive to help each other win souls for the Kingdom of God and not seek to take credit for the soul won. We seek only to give all praise, glory and thanksgiving to Almighty God.

No one jurisdictional member is greater, or lesser than the other. God is not a respecter of persons, neither will we be. We are all equal before and in the eyes of God.

The doctrines, dogmas, policy and practice of each jurisdictional member are just that. Their respective doctrine, dogma, policy or practice.

The Presiding Bishop, Archbishop, Bishop, Elder, Abbot or Archabbot, or leader of a jurisdictional member Church or Denomination, is just that. The shepherd of their respective flocks.

We, as members, will never attempt to begin a merger or attempt to influence any other member in that their views, doctrines, dogmas, policy or practice is incorrect. We strive to unite, not divide.

If there comes a time when a member jurisdiction seeks assistance in providing the proper ministerial covering for a prospective member of their clergy, i.e. ordination, if that prospective member is fit, then this covering will be provided in accordance with the member jurisdiction’s doctrines, dogmas, policy and practice and also in accordance with the assisting member’s doctrines, dogmas, policy and practice.

Any jurisdictional member of this Synod may, at any time, cease to be a member if they so choose, for any reason, without question.

The Synod of Independent Apostolic Clergy is established for one purpose only. That is to give all praise, glory and thanks to our most Loving and Cherishing Father and to share the Gospel of Christ, worldwide.

Heavenly Father, we, the members of this Synod, asks that you bless this endeavor as we continue to work in Your vineyard, for the harvest is truly plenteous, but the laborers are few.

In the Name of the +Father, the +Son and the +Holy Spirit.

Amen
